This week we also talked about the 4 layers of a rainforest, and look at major landmarks of South America. Next week we will go into a deeper study of birds and the hundreds of animals found in the Amazon Rainforest; a pharmacy and gem of the world! Spring is coming…

Allergy season is in full effect. We adore watching those flowers bloom but boy does it make our noses tickle! We continue practicing healthy nose blowing, covering our cough,  and hand washing to prevent the spread of germs. Please be cautious of drowsy allergy medicine and make sure your child is getting enough rest.

Parent Teacher Conference time…

To our wonderful P1 Families,

We hope we were able to accommodate everyone who isn’t able to make it to our scheduled conference day this Friday, March 7th. Please remember FMS is closed to all students. We hope to see everyone at their allotted time slot. Please let us know if you cannot make it and need to reschedule.

We finished up our unit on Oceans and Australia. Ms. Jessie brought in the skeleton of a real blow fish, some of us were afraid to hold its prickly, spherical body. Dr. Seuss’ Birthday celebration was fun on Friday, February 28th. We made green eggs & ham in the morning, and pink ink drink smoothies in the afternoon. March is such a fun month with dinosaurs, reptiles, amphibians and the continent of Asia. We look forward to all the exciting books, works, and projects we will be doing within the next few weeks. On Monday 3/3 we had Chinese acrobats demonstrate some great talent for us!! They showed us some awesome stunts, but we know they are professionals that have been training in Asia since they were young.
