It is great to see everyone back in P1 safe and rested from the break. We shared stories about the places we visited and adventures we had. We also celebrated our planet Earth this week and how important is to take care of the air, land and water so we can continue using its beautiful, natural resources. This week we also talked about the 4 layers of a rainforest, and look at major landmarks of South America. Next week we will go into a deeper study of birds and the hundreds of animals found in the Amazon Rainforest; a pharmacy and gem of the world! Below are pictures from our field trip to the Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary and the Spanish Fiesta on April 11th.

No plans for the summer yet? Join us here at Foothills Montessori School for our exciting camp programs. Montessori mornings and fun, hands on activities and cooking in the afternoon. If you sign up before May 1st your registration fee will be waived. Each week a teacher from the Spanish Immersion classes will be here for the summer. We hope to see you here!
