Have you signed up for the FMS Family Fun Run this Saturday, April 5th!? Your P1 Teachers will be here, laced up and ready! We hope to see everyone here! The classroom with the most participants will win a private bowling party and $200 to spend on our classroom for new materials! Race begins at 9:00 am.
We are looking forward to our class field trip to the Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary this Monday. All students, including afternoon friends, are encouraged to come. Thank you to our volunteers who will be joining us on the bus, please arrive at 8:20 for a quick briefing of what to expect for the day. Don’t forget to wear your FMS t-shirt!
I strongly recommend checking out the Outdoor Classroom Blog. Ms. Val, Ms. Marian, and Ms. Kim have beautiful photos of your children working outside painting, gardening, and interacting with children from other primary classrooms. The password to enter their blog is the same as ours! 🙂
P1 will be looking for two parent volunteers to assist with our garden on Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22nd. One parent in the morning, one parent in the afternoon. We would appreciate our volunteers to purchase plants, flowers or fruit and vegetables that will grow well during this time of year. We would like to plant at 9:00am and 1:00pm.
